Dim Sum Breakfast
Take in the festive holiday season with your friends at SAMSU this thanksgiving thursday (24th Nov) as we head to Phoenix for a Dim Sum breakfast at 9am. We'll be reserving tables, so indicate your interest early!

Shopping Trip
We'll be organising a trip to an outlet shopping mall in the greater Chicago area in the weekend of the 2nd or 3rd week. Thus far the options are Gurnee Mills and Premium Outlets at Aurora. Let one of the committee know if you have any particular preference of place! We'll arrange for bus transport to and from the place (about 1-2 hours drive away) and the cost will be probably around US$10 per person for transport (depending on how many people want to come).

September 12th: Beauty World Official Launch in Singapore GSB campus
SAMSU launched Beauty World today at the Singapore GSB campus. Graced by ST Telemedia's Richard Lim and Melinda Tan, Michael Chiang, Dick Lee, and Babes Conde, the event was covered by Mediacorp, Reuters, and the Sunday Times, among other media. Following a signing ceremony and the launch of the official website, www.citylightschicago.com, a lively Q & A session allowed members of the press to engage the panel of Michael Chiang, Dick Lee, Andy Tan and Lau Shengrong on issues ranging from the rights to the musical to Dick's expectations from this project.

August 26th: Beauty World in TODAY!
TODAY has published a report on our very own beauty world in today's paper. View it in pdf form here or in jpg form here. Kudos to the committee which has worked long and hard in getting the press to cover us, and for securing the 20k sponsorship from ST Telemedia! This project is well underway and looks to be a really big affair, so stay tuned for more updates. We're holding a press conference at the GSB on September 12th at 5:45pm, and everyone is welcome.
